Like many women, I wear many hats (not all of which are designer): mother, wife, daughter, sister, aunt, friend, farmer, and business owner. When not managing Eleanor Leftwich, our family’s multi-generational farm, or chasing after my four children, I enjoy the thrill of the hunt (for vintage finds, that is). Eleanor Leftwich was originally created to share the joy of getting dressed every day, but soon morphed into a platform to help others build a beautiful (and sustainable) wardrobe of sophisticated but easy to wear pieces, or what I call, The Uniform. I hope you’ll join us as we live life in and beyond the uniform!

That’s the idea behind The Uniform: a collection of pieces made to last for years and to keep working with every collection that follows. Each new season builds on what’s already in your closet instead of replacing it. The shirt you wear to all three rooms. The sweater you’d happily buy twice. (Some of us already have.)

Our fabric is made in Italy and France, with yarns from Italy. From there, your piece is made by partners we know by name, in New York, Los Angeles, Italy, Bolivia or Nepal. Effortless silhouettes, thoughtful details, nothing rushed.
We think the people behind the clothes deserve to be seen, so we name them.
Somewhere along the way, luxury started to mean a logo and a markup. We'd rather it meant the fabric, the fit and the hands that made it. So we price every piece for what goes into it, and we're happy to tell you what that is. No inflated "original" prices, no endless sales to correct for them.
