Designing the Uniforms Women Return To
Eleanor Leftwich is a quiet-luxury ready-to-wear brand built on Italian, French, and English fabrics, small-batch production, and the belief that a wardrobe should be made to last. We are a small team, grown word by word, customer by customer. We believe that what is rare becomes more valuable, and that real quality has become rare.
We hire strategic doers. We look for people who are hyper-competent, hyper-responsive, discreet, and loyal — people who see a problem and meet it, who are nimble without being anxious, and humble without being quiet. No one here is above picking up a steamer. We work hard and have fun doing it. We care about taste. We care more about buy-in. We are building a team of people who want to stay a long time.

Executive Assistant to the Founder
Full-time · Based in Minnesota · On-site with flexibility · Reports directly to the Founder
This is the hire that changes everything for the Founder, and by extension, for the brand.
You are her first call and her last check of the day. You run her calendar, her seven inboxes, her trunk shows, her travel, and the hundred small decisions that sit between "I need to" and "done." You prepare her for every meeting she walks into and synthesize every meeting she walks out of. You turn intent into action — quickly, quietly, and without being asked twice.
The right person is hyper-responsive and genuinely unflappable. They sees a problem and meets it. They are discreet by instinct, not by policy. They are the kind of person who notices that a flight needs rebooking before anyone has said the word "delay," and who keeps the trains running while the Founder is on stage, on a plane, or on the farm.
If you have ever been called "a godsend" by someone you work with, we would like to meet you.
- The Founder's time. Calendar, priorities, the 4-days-brand / 1-day-farm rhythm, a protected weekly strategic block. Nothing gets on the schedule without going through you.
- Seven inboxes. Email, DMs, texts, Slack, and everything in between — triaged daily, with the help of AI tools we'll build around your workflow. You surface what matters, draft the response in her voice, and close the loops that don't need her at all.
- Trunk shows and travel. Ten to fifteen boutiques, VIC dinners, site visits, shoots, market weeks. You plan the logistics, the guest lists, the run-of-show, and the thank-you notes. When she lands somewhere, everything is ready.
- Meeting preparation and synthesis. You read the deck, build the brief, put the right documents in front of her, and capture the decisions and action items afterward — with owners and dates. Every meeting starts on time and ends with a clear next step.
- The quiet operations of the founder's life. Vendors, appointments, gifts, follow-through on warm introductions, the small and constant administration that keeps a household and a company moving in the same direction.
The title is Executive Assistant. You likely have five to ten years of experience supporting a founder, principal, or C-suite executive in a fast-moving consumer brand, family office, or similarly demanding environment.
Beyond the résumé and the qualities named above, we're looking for:
- Detail as a love language. Nothing falls through. The follow-up happens before it's asked for.
- Calm under pressure. Trunk show season, market weeks, a missed flight, a last-minute shoot — the rhythm changes constantly and the work doesn't slip.
- Fluency with AI. You are already using modern tools to draft, triage, summarize, and synthesize, and you're excited to build more of that into how this role operates.
- Taste. You understand — or are quick to understand — why we choose Italian cashmere over a cheaper substitute, and why a handwritten thank-you note matters more than a faster shipment. The brand is in the details.
- Warmth. You will represent the Founder to customers, partners, agencies, and friends of the brand. People should feel better after an email from you than before it.
- Experience in fashion, luxury retail, hospitality, or any environment where the standard is "actual luxury" rather than the idea of it.
- Project management instincts — you can run a small workstream from brief to launch without a lot of hand-holding.
- A second set of interests (farming, events, finance, design — we are a family with more than one business, and curiosity compounds).
It is not a typical EA role with a predictable 9-to-6 cadence. The Founder's life has seasons — trunk show season, market weeks, shoots, farm stretches in August — and the rhythm of the work follows. In return, we are thoughtful about protecting your time in the quieter windows.
It is also not a role for someone who prefers to stay in one lane. You will touch the brand, the production calendar, travel, the household, and occasionally the other side of the business. The person who thrives here likes the breadth.
Competitive base, performance bonus, health benefits, and a clothing allowance. We'll talk through the full package with finalists.
