The Eleanor Shirt Dress is meant to be the utmost flexible and does not have designated belt loops, meaning it’s easy to wear with the matching sash or without. Want a cinched look? Use the sash to accentuate your waist. Prefer an easy breezy look? Ditch the sash and no one will be the wiser that it ever came with one. Two looks in one which is a favorite justification when shopping! For brand size guidance, XXS fits most 00, XS fits most 0-2, S fits most 4-6, M fits most 8-10, L fits most 12-14, XL fits most 16-18, 2XL fits most 20-22, 3XL fits most 24-26.

The hype is real

Fabric that feels amazing and the perfect cut for a shirtdress. I sized down to an XS since I am 5’4”. Very happy to have my first ELC piece. It won’t be my last!

Love this dress so much!

I love this dress so much I have it in two colors - navy stripe and black stripe. The fabric is out of this world — luxurious yet so soft and breathable. The dress is the perfect length for me as are the sleeves. For reference, I’m 5’9, 155 pounds. I buy the medium but it’s generous so if you’re between sizes, might think about sizing down depending on fit you want. And I wore this all the way through my pregnancy and it still buttoned with no gaping (and I gained about 40 pounds).

This dress is extremely versatile and you will wear it over and over again. I wear it to school functions, work, dinner with friends, date night, just swap out the shoes for the occasion and you’re good. I also love that the belt doesn’t have loops so you can put it at your natural waist.

Perfect shirt dress

The fabric is absolutely fabulous. So easy to dress up or down for multiple seasons, I purchased color coordinating crew necks to extend the wear into winter. I am petite and went down a size, needs hemming but totally worth it. If you are on the fence, go for it, you will have no regrets!

An anything but basic basic!

Oh gosh, I adore this dress! The fabric is so, so lovely and soft to the touch and it drapes beautifully. I find the cut to be generous, but not overwhelming. At 5'6", the length falls roughly to my ankles (similar to what as it is shown in the EL website photos). I will probably have it hemmed slightly, but I love that tailoring it to personal preference is an option.

This is my second EL purchase (the other being a Mac blazer) but definitely not my last! :)
