Named after Eleanor herself, this shirt dress will be a workhorse in your wardrobe. Easy to dress up or down, sash it or wear it loose, and with pockets to stash a lipstick makes it effortlessly chic with endless styling opportunities. Pair with a baby cashmere knit over your shoulders or wear loose to run errands.

Comes with detachable matching sash. There are no belt loops making where you tie it completely customizable.

The Eleanor Shirt Dress is meant to be the utmost flexible and does not have designated belt loops, meaning it’s easy to wear with the matching sash or without. Want a cinched look? Use the sash to accentuate your waist. Prefer an easy breezy look? Ditch the sash and no one will be the wiser that it ever came with one. Two looks in one which is a favorite justification when shopping! For brand size guidance, XXS fits most 00, XS fits most 0-2, S fits most 4-6, M fits most 8-10, L fits most 12-14, XL fits most 16-18, 2XL fits most 20-22, 3XL fits most 24-26.

Shipping: Once your order is placed, you will receive a confirmation email letting you know that our fulfillment team has received your order. Once your order is fulfilled, you will receive an email notification with your tracking information. Shipping fees are non-refundable in the case of returns.

Returns: Returns are accepted within 7 days of receipt by emailing us here for a full refund minus a $10 return shipping fee. Exchanges are free. Any sale items can also be returned within 7 days, but for store credit only.

    Chambray for the win!

    I’ve always loved shirt dresses and this is no exception. The chambray fabric is divine - it’s casual and polished all at once. It can also be dressed up and you will always look put-together whether you wear with sneakers, flats or heels. I love this fabric - I also have the Diane pants in this fabric and these pieces have become one of my go-tos for all sorts of different occasions. I’m hoping we’ll see more chambray in the spring releases - I would love it if it became part of the core collection!

    Perfect fall piece

    I have been a fan of Tencel denim for a long time and the composition on this piece is beautiful. The fabric is so soft and the drape is wonderful. I do think the dark denim runs at least a size large compared to my other Eleanor dresses, but the drape is so nice on this fabric that the sizing does not detract as long as I keep the dress belted. Cannot wait to wear this in the fall with some brown suede tall boots!
